Imagine floating in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef on a glamorous yacht moored outside one of Australia’s most exclusive island hideaways. A stay aboard M.Y. Flying Fish presents guests with the rare and indulgent opportunity for guests to experience the world-class lodge and unspoilt island paradise from the privacy of a luxury yacht.
Having recently undergone a $2m refit and refurbishment, the glamourous M.Y. Flying Fish will provide an exclusive, floating hotel experience for private groups of up to eight guests. Interior living areas feature across three decks, complete with mahogany finishes and indulgent furnishings, ideal for sharing time and making memories. Four spacious and luxurious staterooms are outfitted with their own private ensuite bathrooms, the master with a spa bath. A classically designed exterior features a comfortably shaded alfresco dining area, multiple sun lounging areas, a helipad, and a fly deck saloon lounge where guests can enjoy panoramic views of the Coral Sea and take in Orpheus’ spectacular sunsets.
After waking in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef and enjoying breakfast on board, guests can be transferred at leisure to Orpheus Island by their dedicated host, where they can take part in a daily signature experience such as local snorkel, guided island hike, cocktail class, low tide walk, sunset cruise or whale watching (when in season), or spend the day enjoying the island – exploring secluded coves by motorised dinghy, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing the catamaran, or simply relaxing by the infinity pool, enjoying a rejuvenating treatment at the resort’s Gwandalan Spa, and dining on chef-hatted meals showcasing locally-grown produce.
