All reservations must be guaranteed at time of booking with a credit card. A 25% deposit of the total booking (accommodation and helicopter transfers) is charged at the time of booking and full payment must be made at least 30 days prior to guest arrival. Surcharges apply for Mastercard/VISA 1.5% and AMEX 2.26%. Any additional charges incurred during your stay at the lodge will be charged upon checkout.
Cancellation Policy
- Any cancellations made 61+ days prior to check in; no cancellation fees apply.
- Any cancellations made 60 – 31 days prior to arrival; a 25% cancellation fee applies (accommodation and helicopter transfers).
- Any cancellations made within 30 days of check in date; 100% cancellation fee applies (accommodation and helicopter transfers).
- All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellation fees will be applied from date of written notification being received.
- Should any cancellations be a package, further cancellation charges or administration fees may be applicable for components within the package that Orpheus Island Lodge is liable for.
Groups Policy
The following policy applies for all groups at Orpheus Island Lodge unless otherwise negotiated in writing by the Morris Escapes reservations or sales team.
- A group is defined as seven (7) or more rooms travelling together. Groups of seven or rooms are usually accepted on an exclusive-use basis.
- Within 14 days of booking, a non-refundable 50% deposit payment is required.
- The remaining 50% balance is to be paid 120+ days prior to check-in date.
- Any cancellations made less than 120 days prior to the check-in date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- Unused services – no refund can be given for any unused services or early departures.
- All cancellations must be received in writing.
- Within 61 days of arrival, a preliminary rooming list, individual body weights (for any helicopter transfers) & any special dietary requirements are to be issued.
- No less than 30 days prior to arrival, a final rooming list is to be provided for the finalisation of the bespoke touring program.
Credit Card Fees
Please note all Visa / MasterCard transactions will incur a 1.5% surcharge, AMEX will incur a 2.26% surcharge. This is non-refundable in the event of cancellation
