Into the Blue Package

Orpheus’ local dive sites are home to 1,100 of the 1,500 species of fish on the reef, 340 of the 359 varieties of hard corals and some of the region’s largest collections of soft corals.

Our ‘Into the Blue’ dive package allows guests to discover the pristine outer reef on a private half day dive or snorkel and the vibrant fringing reef on a private 2 hour dive or snorkel.

Package inclusions:

  • 3 nights luxury accommodation
  • All gourmet meals daily
  • A selection of quality wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks, all-inclusive mini bar and gourmet snacks
  • A daily curated Orpheus experience – local snorkel, sunset cruise, guided hike, cocktail class, low tide walk, wine tasting, and whale watching (when in season)
  • Unlimited use of motorised dinghies, paddle boards, kayaks, catamaran, snorkelling equipment and light fishing gear
  • Private half day outer reef dive or snorkel (approx. 5 hours and includes all equipment, a skipper, snorkel/dive guide, snacks and refreshments)
  • Private two hour fringing reef dive or snorkel (approx. 2 hours and includes all equipment, a skipper, snorkel/dive guide, snacks and refreshments)
  • ‘Discover Dive’ course can be conducted on-island for any guest over the age of 12 years who wish to dive but don’t hold a current PADI certification
  • ‘Bubblemaker’ course can be conducted on-island for any guest (8 – 12 y/o)

Terms & Conditions: Travel until 31 March 2025. Minimum length of stay 3 nights. From $7,750 for two guests (North Beachfront Room). Into the Blue package cannot be booked from 28 March – 2 April 2024 & 18 December 2024 – 5 January 2025 when Easter & Festive Season rates are in place. All divers most hold a PADI certification, or equivalent. For any guests who wish to take part in a ‘Discover Dive’ course on-island, a Dive Medical must be completed and forwarded to the Morris Escapes Reservation Department prior to arrival on-island. Per Queensland Government Code of Practice, people undertaking resort dives must be at least a minimum of 12 years of age. All dive charters are weather dependent. Guests should not travel to a high altitude (8,000 ft) within 18 hours of completing a single scuba dive or 24 hours after multiple dives or; after any ‘deep’ dive (over 18 metres/60 ft). Guests can however fly then dive on the same day. Helicopter transfers to/from Orpheus Island at an additional cost. Booking code DIVE and non-commissionable to trade partners.
